My Pipeline

1. Lint — ESLint + Prettier on every push
2. Type Check — TypeScript strict mode
3. Test — Jest unit + integration tests
4. Build — Verify production build succeeds
5. Deploy — Auto-deploy to staging on PR merge, production on release

Key Workflows

• PR checks run in parallel for speed
• Caching node_modules between runs saves 2-3 minutes
• Matrix builds test against multiple Node versions
• Slack notifications for failed deployments

Tips

• Start simple — lint and build first, add tests later
• Use reusable workflows for shared logic across repos
• Keep secrets in GitHub Secrets, never in code
